With a total of 804 km, the Madrid-Barcelona-French Border HSR is one of the main communication axes between Spain and the rest of Europe, and the backbone of the Northeast Corridor. Azvi was in charge of the construction of five sections and two stations. The stretch is 0.9 km long and has a budget of €17.3 M. The project comprises the construction of the station, one viaduct of 750 m and 27 spans, and the urbanisation of the station surroundings (access road around the station, pedestrian walkway, breakout space and parking. A technical building with three separate rooms to accommodate signaling, telecoms and safety and power supply equipments is also being constructed. Cambrils station main singularity is that is located under one of the viaduct span, which is accessible from the station. 7.5 km long stetch with a €48.8 M budget. It also comprises the construction of 2 tunnels (Pertegás, 395 m long, and Telleda, 209 m long), 5 viaducts, 1 overpass, 5 underpasses and 5 drainage works. The stretch has a total length of 6 km and a budget of €27.2 M. A large number of structures should be highlighted: 5 isostatic viaducts, 3 statically indeterminate viaducts, 3 overpasses, 1 double isostatic arched support structure over the AP-7 motorway, 3 walls and 2 gantry type underpasses). 10 km long stretch with a €52.9 M budget. It is to be mentioned the construction of one viaduct, one underpass and 20 flyovers. Track assembly works in a 15.5 km stretch. €8.4 M budget. 21 km long stretch and €28 M budget.
