Construction of a new section to join Altza and Galtzaraborda stations, with a budget of 64.2 M€. Azvi is constructing a section of a new route of 2,115 m, of which 1,658 run through a mine tunnel, which is being executed with the new Austrian method using roadheaders, 221.8 m in a false tunnel, and 235 m in the open air between screens. The section is being carried out throughout the municipalities of Donostia – San Sebastian, Pasaia and Errenteria, connecting with the Herrera – Altza section, in a mine tunnel and running through a tunnel along to the Galtzaraborda station. A new station is being constructed in Pasai Antxo. Various solutions are being developed, both for the mapping of the line as well as for each of the stations along the section. Noteworthy is the Pasaia Station, which is being executed using the cut & cover method, with its crossing under the Molinao estuary being particularly significant. To be highlighted among the unique works are: the emergency and ventilation gallery of Sasuategi and the emergency ventilation of Darieta carried out using the raise-boring method and a mine tunnel as well as San Marcos, which is being executed using the cut & cover technique. The works are divided into four main sections: San Sebastian Metro
