The Type A4 highway will have a total carriageway width of 23 m, comprising four, 3.5m-wide lanes (two in each direction). The new bypass will divert heavy traffic from Federal Highway 57 Querétaro-San Luis, allowing circulation speeds of up to 110 km/h.
The project includes the construction of 14 bridges and a road interchange, as well as pedestrian crossings, wildlife and livestock crossings, and drainage systems.
