Description of works

The €59.4million project involved the extension of the runway at La Coruña Airport by 400m, increasing its total length to 2,340m.

Further conditioning and service restoration actions were also carried out, as well as a new service road layout and an interior perimeter path around the runway threshold.

Dismantling and removal of Objects of Cultural Interest

The extension works also involved the dismantling and movement, stone by stone, to a new location of seven Objects of Cultural Interest: a manor house, two traditional houses, three granaries and a stone cross.
