Tracción Rail will transport the material for the new High Speed Line to Levante stretches
Adif has awarded to Tracción Rail (forming an UTE with Transfesa and EWS) a 10,041,326.56 Euro contract to perform the railway transport services of the necessary materials for the High Speed Line to Levante, Madrid-Castilla La Mancha-Comunidad Valenciana-Región de Murcia, new stretches. Monforte del Cid Base.
The services included in the project consist of carrying-out the following works:
- 1,435 mm gauge railway transport services of the necessary materials for the construction and accomplishment of tests in the Almansa-Alicante stretch
- Traction and diesel locomotives maintenance, locomotives operation and fuel supply
- Trains set and necessary shuntings in the bases and out of them. Assistance to the management and regulation of railway traffic and any other needed work to give safety, steady flow of traffic and to obtain the highest efficiency in traffic operations from Monforte del Cid Base up to the track assembly work site, and during the sub-systems tests.
