Azvi will construct the railway link between Andalucía and Levante

Adif’s Board of Directors has awarded Azvi the construction works for the High Speed Line to Levante and the High Speed Line Madrid-Andalucía connection branch, with a 71.2 million Euros budget.

This section, which is 7 km in length, goes between Torrejón de Velasco (Madrid) and Yeles (Toledo) municipal districts and it belongs to the High Speed Lines Madrid-Castilla La Mancha-Comunidad Valenciana-Región de Murcia and Madrid-Andalucía connection branch, making possible the direct link between both Lines.

The execution period is 26 months and as outstanding elements it is necessary to highlight the construction of a 1,125 m viaduct and a 90 m arched support structure.
