Azvi is a family company whose origins in the public works business go back to 1901. In that same year, it was signed one of the first contracts with the Andalusian Railway Company. In 1925, Manuel Contreras Graciani founded the company in his same name, being involved in various railway and hydraulic projects.
Azvi’s present name dates back to 1988, and without losing its railway works specilization it also branched out into all areas of construction, especially highways and roads, high speed, hydraulic and environmental projetcs, maritime works and airports, throughout Spain and countries such as Portugal, Chile, Mexico, Brazil and Romania.
The Azvi Group was set up in 2002, as part of Azvi company’s move towards diversification after a long and positive path in the field of construction after more than 100 years.
