Tracción Rail carries out its business activity as a private railway operator.
On July 24, 2006, the company obtained the Railway Company License for railway transportation of freight Level 1, including the special categories for perishable and dangerous goods.
In 2008, Tracción Rail began its business activity as a private railway operator. It carries out railway transportation of goods, specifically the connection between Huelva and Valdetorres (Badajoz). These are two points between which it will move over 5,000 tons of palm oil and biodiesel per week.
It is a member of the Private Railway Companies Association.
