The section is 12.82 km in length. The work includes the construction of two junctions (with the road N-122 and the access to Langa de Duero) and 2 km of the road N-122 replacement. The present arterial road will serve as a service road between both villages.
A 90 m long viaduct will be also constructed to cross over the Rebollar stream.
The main singularity of this 5 km long section is that 2.08 km run underground by the “Paso bajo el Río Guadalquivir”.
1.9 km of tunnel are projected to be excuted using tunnelling machine. It is make up of four tunnels, with an 12.60 m free inner diameter circular section with two lanes each one. There is another artificial tunnel, which is 100 m long, linked to the East entrance, and it will be executed a an open clearing between bentonite-cement walls. The works have a timeframe of 41 months.
Construction of the last phase of the A-491 Highway viaduct over “Las Salinas” industrial zone, in El Puerto de Santa María, Cádiz, to avoid the central area and the industrial zone, and to channel the traffic from the North-west coast of Cádiz.
The viaduct will be extended 400 m more and it will be doubled 1.5 km of the industrial zone carriageways to connect to the A-4 Highway in the Poblado de Doña Blanca junction.
The whole course will have highway features, with two lanes in each carriageway and it will be also executed a three lanes roundabout to allow the connection to the industrial zone. The works have a timeframe of 26 months.
9.1 km long ring road section, based on the construction of a new course highway, from the West to the East, between the A-231 Highway and Quintadueñas. It has been projected two connections (with the A-231 Highway León-Burgos and the BU-622 road), ten viaducts and bridges, six overpasses, ten underpasses, four passes over the irrigation channel and nine new drainage works, being extended the three that already exists.
New highway section which is 2.6 km long. The main structure is the 80 m in length viaduct over the Basa River. Otherwise, il will be constructed one underpass, two carriageway protective structures, several retaining walls, four drainage works and the extension of the existing underpasses to the connection with Sabiñánigo.
Sabadell Ring Road enlargement, consisting of the construction of a new 3.5 km long course way. It will be underground almost in its total length because the proximity to the Sabadell’s urban zone.
Construction of a 4 km long side carriageway with two overpasses in the C-58 highway, in order to facilitate the connection between Sabadell, Bellaterra and Barcelona through the B-30 highway and the connection to the Autónoma University of Barcelona.
Section of 5.15 km long.
The most notable structure is the Guatizalema River Viaduct, which has 2 separate carriageways with 3 lanes and is 139 m long. The significant environmental protection measures implemented are to be noted. These measures include specific elements such as ports and escape ramps in enclosures, ramps and passageways in transversal and longitudinal drainage works.
The section is 6,02 km long in the segment of highway providing access to A Coruña and 2,86 km long in the access route to the Alvedro airport. It is to be noted for the construction of 3 viaducts, 4 cut-and-cover tunnels, 8 flyovers, 10 underpasses, 2 links, 2 roundabouts and 45 drainage works.
The section is located between the north of the town of Béjar to the south-west of the town of Puerto de Béjar. The motorway is parallel to the present N-630 and is a duplication of this motorway.It is to be highlighted as part of the works the Viaduct over the Cuerpo de Hombre River, 580 m long and the Viaduct over the ravine at Kilometre 7+300, 359 m long.
The section consists of a total of five structures, being the most important the two bridges over the Ledaña and Valemembra rivers.
The highway section is 9.12 km in length with 3 tunnels of 2,030, 278 and 220 m in length, 4 viaducts, 5 overpasses and 3 underpasses. The most important figures are 4.3 million m3 of excavation and 4.18 million m3 of earth filling.
Road duplication and conversion in highway of the road A-376, in the section among the intersection with the road SE-425 and the connection of Utrera. The section is about 7 km in length, and it completes the itinerary in highway between Sevilla and Utrera.
Construction, maintenance and operation for a period of 36 years of the AP-41 Madrid - Toledo toll motorway and Castilla - La Mancha A-40 highway. Section: North of Toledo ring road. The most relevant figures are 13.5 million m3 of excavation, 13.2 million m3 of earth filling, 28 viaducts, 107 overpasses and underpasses and 256,931 tn of asphalt mixtures.
Section of 18.24 km in length with 3 viaducts: over the Albentosa river of 620 metres in length and 60 metres in height; over the Mora de Rubielos road and over the Barranco de los Judíos, both 264 metres in length and 25 metres in height.
Highway that connects the towns of Inca and Sa Pobla with 10.7 km in length and a carriageways of two lanes of 3.5 m in each direction. The most important figures are 820,000 m3 of excavation, 960,000 m3 of earth filling and 125,000 m3 of ground stabilized with cement.
Section V goes completely across the “Parque Natural de los Alcornocales”, which is 16,542 km in length, with 13 viaducts, 6 underpasses and 14 frames. This highway was awarded the Global Road Achievement Awards prize, in the Environment category, by the environmental messures used in its construction.
